Job Overview

The Risk Analytics Manager will lead the development and implementation of advanced risk models, data analytics, and reporting frameworks that safeguard the bank’s assets and reputation. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain quantitative risk models for credit, market, and operational risk.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify risk trends, emerging threats, and opportunities for mitigation.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management, regulators, and board committees.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility.
  • Lead stress testing and scenario analysis exercises aligned with Basel III and local regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote a data‑driven risk culture across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, credit risk, market risk, and operational risk frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and big‑data platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex analytics into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong ethical mindset.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required. Candidates holding a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or PRM are highly preferred.

Experience

Applicants must have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in risk analytics, preferably within a banking or financial services environment. Demonstrated experience in model validation, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder management is essential.
