Job Description
JOB OPPORTUNITY: SHE OFFICER Micrark Investments (Contractor to Botswana Power Corporation) Micrark Investments, an established electrical company contracted by Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), is looking for a qualified and proactive Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
Requirements
- Diploma in Safety, Health and Environmental Management or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar SHE role, preferably on electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 & 14001:2015, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and enforce safety procedures.
- Proven ability to formulate and compile Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) SHE files.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
