Job Overview

BIDR is seeking a dynamic Policy Research Analyst to lead research projects on national development priorities. This role involves designing policy frameworks, analyzing socio-economic data, and providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on public policy issues affecting Botswana’s development agenda.
• Design and implement policy evaluation frameworks for government programs.

• Present findings to government officials, NGOs, and international partners through presentations and publications.
• Monitor and analyze emerging trends in public administration and governance.

Required Skills

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on policy design.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report drafting and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R).

Education

• Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

Salary

SSP 120,000 – SSP 150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
