Job Overview
The Brand Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies for Heineken Botswana’s flagship brands. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, the incumbent will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, external agencies, and retail partners to create compelling campaigns that resonate with Botswana consumers. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing brand equity, increasing sales volume, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints. The role demands a blend of creative vision, analytical rigor, and strong leadership to deliver measurable results in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 12‑month brand plans aligned with corporate objectives and market insights.
- Lead the creation of integrated marketing communications, including digital, social, experiential, and traditional media.
- Manage agency relationships, brief development, and campaign execution while ensuring brand consistency.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with sales, trade, and supply chain teams to drive promotional effectiveness and in‑store visibility.
- Oversee budget allocation, track ROI, and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.
- Champion responsible drinking initiatives and community outreach programs.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIM, Google Analytics) are considered a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5‑7 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a brand management role within the food & beverage or consumer packaged goods industry. Proven track record of delivering successful multi‑channel campaigns and achieving sales growth targets is essential.
Salary
The competitive salary range for this position is SSP 120,000 – 180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A performance‑based bonus structure and other incentives are also part of the total remuneration package.
