Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planning Specialist to join our team in Maun, Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading urban planning projects and developing sustainable urban planning solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead urban planning projects and develop sustainable urban planning solutions
- Conduct urban planning research and analysis to inform project decisions
- Develop and implement urban planning policies and regulations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that urban planning projects meet the needs of the community
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in urban planning
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education
A Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field is required. A Ph.D. in Urban Planning or related field is an asset.
Experience
8-12 years of experience in urban planning is required. Experience in leading urban planning projects and developing sustainable urban planning solutions is an asset.
Salary
The salary for this position is 60,000 – 80,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
