Job Overview
Unilever Botswana is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns. This role will focus on leveraging social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, analyze performance metrics, and stay ahead of digital trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with Unilever’s brand objectives.
- Create and curate engaging content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Hootsuite.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate social media efforts with broader digital campaigns.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in content creation, including copywriting and visual design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and paid social advertising (Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (Google Analytics, HubSpot, or social media platform certifications) are a plus.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Experience in the consumer goods or FMCG sector is preferred.
Salary
SSP 150,000 – SSP 250,000 per annum, depending on experience.
