Job Overview
This role focuses on designing and implementing technology-driven educational solutions for primary and secondary schools in Kanye. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators to develop interactive learning modules, train teachers on digital platforms, and evaluate the impact of technology on student engagement and performance. The position aligns with Botswana’s National Development Plan 12, which prioritizes STEM education and digital literacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize e-learning platforms for K-12 curricula
- Conduct workshops for teachers on integrating technology into lesson plans
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital learning tools
- Partner with local schools to identify infrastructure and training needs
- Stay updated on global EdTech trends and adapt solutions for Botswana’s context
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Moodle or Canvas
- Experience with multimedia content creation (videos, interactive quizzes)
- Strong understanding of Botswana’s national education standards
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting technical issues
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Computer Science
- Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Experience
- 3-5 years in educational technology, curriculum development, or teacher training
- Proven experience in a multicultural or international setting
Salary
120,000 – 150,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
