Job Description
Botswana Telecommunications Corporation is seeking a results-oriented Territory Sales Executive to expand its telecom services and strengthen market penetration in Mogoditshane and surrounding areas. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth by increasing customer acquisition, maintaining strong retail partnerships, and implementing strategic sales initiatives across mobile, internet, and digital services.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop innovative strategies to meet ambitious sales targets. You will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to optimize service visibility, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure effective coverage of the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives
Build and maintain relationships with retail partners, distributors, and key accounts
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and high-potential customer segments
Monitor sales performance, revenue growth, and KPIs
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy
Implement trade promotions, campaigns, and brand awareness initiatives
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline analytics
Ensure product availability and proper merchandising in retail outlets
Collaborate with marketing and operations to enhance customer engagement
Coach and support sales teams or distributors to improve product knowledge and sales performance

Proven experience in telecommunications sales or related industry
Strong negotiation, client relationship management, and presentation skills
Analytical ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and performance metrics
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
