The Agricultural Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will design and implement strategies to improve the efficiency, sustainability, and resilience of agricultural supply chains in Botswana. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain optimization strategies for agricultural products.
- Collaborate with farmers, cooperatives, and private sector partners to streamline logistics and distribution networks.
- Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions for supply chain improvements.
- Conduct training programs for stakeholders on modern supply chain practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions on food security and economic growth.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in agricultural supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Familiarity with Botswana’s agricultural policies and market dynamics.

Education

Experience

- Experience working with rural communities or NGOs in Botswana is an advantage.
Salary
250,000 – 350,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
