Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA department at Bayer’s Mabutsane manufacturing site, ensuring that all products comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and Bayer’s internal quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Supervise a team of QA specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor and review batch records, validation protocols, and change control documentation.
• Ensure all released products meet specifications and are compliant with national and international standards.
• Prepare and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory changes in Botswana and globally, integrating them into the QA framework.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

Education
