Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Kasane, Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing environmental management plans, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, ecology, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects, including infrastructure development, mining, and energy projects
- Develop environmental management plans and ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication and project delivery
- Conduct fieldwork, including site visits and data collection, to inform environmental impact assessments
