Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Governance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance of our cybersecurity program. This includes the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure the effective response to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on governance and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Experience
