Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Analyst to join our team in Maun, Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support business decision-making.
The Geospatial Data Analyst will work closely with our clients to understand their data needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs. This may involve collecting and processing large datasets, creating visualizations and maps, and providing data-driven insights to support business strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial science, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support business decision-making
- Develop customized solutions to meet client data needs
- Collect and process large datasets
- Create visualizations and maps to communicate data insights
- Provide data-driven insights to support business strategy
Required Skills
- Strong background in geospatial science
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science or related field
