Job Overview
This role leads the planning, execution, and delivery of sustainable construction projects in Kanye, Botswana. The ideal candidate will drive energy-efficient design, waste reduction strategies, and compliance with green building certifications like LEED or Green Star. The position offers opportunities to shape Botswana’s future infrastructure while contributing to national climate action targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle for sustainable construction initiatives
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to implement eco-friendly building practices
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international green building standards
- Develop cost-effective sustainability solutions for materials, energy, and water efficiency
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality control metrics
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify improvement opportunities
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in sustainable construction methodologies
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team management abilities
- Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
- Knowledge of renewable energy integration in buildings
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex project challenges
- Fluency in stakeholder communication and reporting
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Environmental Science

Salary
