Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy multi-modal biometric authentication systems including facial and iris scanning.
- Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on identity management software.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to define security protocols and compliance standards.
- Manage the lifecycle of biometric templates, ensuring secure storage and encryption.
- Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues for biometric scanners and readers.
- Develop technical documentation and user manuals for system operators.
- Monitor system performance to ensure low False Acceptance Rates (FAR) and False Rejection Rates (FRR).
Required Skills
- Expertise in biometric algorithms and pattern recognition software.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java for security application development.
- Deep understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and encryption standards.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex system failures.
- Ability to manage large-scale database migrations and synchronization.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical officials.
Education
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Specialized certifications in CISSP or CISM are highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in biometric security or identity access management (IAM) is required. Experience working on government-level security projects or within the defense sector is a significant advantage for this role.
