Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Geologist to join our team in Orapa. As a Mining Geologist, you will play a critical role in the exploration and mining operations of our diamond mines. Your expertise will help us to identify new mining opportunities, optimize existing operations, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological mapping and sampling to identify new mining opportunities
• Collaborate with the exploration team to design and implement drilling programs
• Analyze geological data to optimize mining operations and improve resource estimation
• Develop and maintain geological models to inform mine planning and decision-making
• Provide technical support to the mining operations team to ensure safe and efficient extraction of minerals

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in mining geology or a related field
• Strong knowledge of geological principles and mining operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
