Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Conservation Biologist to join our team in Shakawe, Botswana. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing our marine conservation program in the region.

The Marine Conservation Biologist will work closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and address key conservation challenges in the marine ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marine conservation program for the region
  • Conduct research and monitoring to identify key conservation challenges and opportunities
  • Work with local communities and stakeholders to develop and implement conservation plans
  • Collaborate with government agencies and other organizations to advance conservation goals
  • Develop and manage budgets and reports for the marine conservation program

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in marine biology, ecology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in marine conservation or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful conservation programs
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
