Job Overview

Reuters Botswana is seeking a dynamic Media Relations Officer to manage stakeholder engagement, coordinate media outreach, and amplify the organization’s mission through strategic communication. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and international media outlets.
  • Coordinate press releases, interviews, and media events to promote Reuters Botswana’s initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to assess public perception and adjust communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling content for news platforms and social media.
  • Act as a liaison between Reuters Botswana and government, corporate, and community stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in media relations, public affairs, or corporate communications.
  • Strong understanding of digital media tools and social platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

Salary
