Gilda Property Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join its construction and property development team in Gaborone. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with safety and building standards.
As part of the team, you will contribute to the development of modern living spaces by delivering efficient water supply, drainage, and sanitation solutions. This position requires a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively in both new construction and maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and pressure problems
Work with water supply systems, drainage systems, gas piping, and sanitation infrastructure
Read and interpret building plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems
Use plumbing tools and equipment efficiently and safely
Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and site supervisors
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements
Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
Strong knowledge of water systems, drainage networks, gas piping, and sanitation systems
Proficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and diagnostic techniques
Ability to identify and resolve plumbing faults quickly and efficiently
Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and handle heavy materials
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Punctual, reliable, and dedicated to workplace safety standards
Education
Diploma or certification in Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, or a related technical field preferred
Trade certification or vocational training in plumbing is an added advantage
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in construction or property maintenance
Experience in residential and commercial building projects is preferred
Salary (Estimated)
BWP 8,000 – 15,000 per month depending on experience and skill level
