Job Purpose
The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy-duty vehicles for safe transportation of parcels and cargo
Ensure timely delivery and collection of consignments with proper documentation
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
Drive long distances, including night shifts when required
Handle safe loading and offloading of goods
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
Ensure vehicle is roadworthy before every trip
Follow all traffic laws and company regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of proven experience driving heavy-duty vehicles
Valid EC Driver’s License
Valid PRDP-GOODS (Professional Driving Permit)
Good knowledge of routes and road safety regulations
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
